Shades In Shadow

SK Iyer

"How many doors does your mind have?"
A question that he would weave,
posing with a smile, and would
invite me into his thoughtful world.
"Hey, please stop counting, my friend,
doors are narrow passages of mind,
break them all and the wall around,
let it be as roomy as this universe
it can contain the entire cosmos!"
The entire universe is now within me,
to sing on a holy world of future,
but I miss him a lot and his thoughts,
since the day I became penniless,
a state of status that detaches
me from the worldly relations.
I am not aware, why this happens -
in the dismal shades of logics,
the tree of life looks for shadows!
